Thinkpad x1 carbon gen 1012/15/2023 ![]() ![]() If you want something with a Geforce, look at the Legion 7 or any number of other fantastic laptops. Plus the keyboard is genuinely quite good. The Asus Zephyrus G14 has a magnesium chassis for instance, and while it only has 1 RAM slot it's 1 more than the AMD T14 has. The business machines likely have higher-quality parts. No it's not the best in terms of cooling or performance, but it's more than good enough (though you might want a Legion 5 Pro instead if you do anything other than gaming) There's a reason the Zephyrus G14 is so popular. ![]() Oh and a lot of them don't look that far off either. Corporate bulk purchasers don't usually go for it. Not only will it have better brightness, colour, contrast and viewing angles - you will most probably more than make up the investment when selling it. When buying a new ThinkPad, consider taking the IPS screen option if possible, as it doesn't cost much. ![]() When buying a used ThinkPad, remember to check that the BIOS is not locked with a supervisor's password and that Computrace is not enabled and activated.
